The International Festival of Poetry “ORPHEUS” – PLOVDIV 2021 is a project of Plovdiv LIK Foundation. It includes creative, cultural, educational and promotional activities united by the desire for exchanging ideas, inspiration and creative contacts.

The festival will take place from the 12^th until the 15^th of May  2021 in the Little Early Christian Basilica as a festival center, but its activities will cover a number of other historical and cultural spaces in Plovdiv.

The festival includes: poetry readings, poetry competition, cultural and educational seminar, writers’ forum and exploratory trips.

The fourth edition of the festival gathers together poets from the USA, Spain, India, Morocco, Romania, North Macedonia, Albania and Bulgaria.

The Orpheus Project – PLOVDIV 2021 was implemented with the financial support of the Municipality of Plovdiv – Directorate “Culture, Archeology and Cultural heritage” and is a part of the Cultural Calendar of the Municipality for 2021.
